B ales should be stacked with an orientation perpendicular to the prevailing weather pattern (Usually a North-South Orientation.  Round Bales should be stacked in a 3-2-1 pyramid, while Square bales should be stacked with a sloped-roof to allow for rain-off.   Do not position stacks too close to buildings, or to each other in case of fire due to spontaneous combustion or mischief. next hint >>
